sTRAdART 2011
TIMISOARA / Piata Traian si Piata Unirii / 24-26 iunie
Institutul francez din Timisoara organizeaza de 5 ani un festival atipic de arta urbana, dedicat în întregime practicilor artistice în spatiul public: sTRAdART. Ultima editie a acestui festival a fost consacrata dansului Hip-Hop si graffiti-ului.
In urma succesului de care s-a bucurat aceasta manifestare si in particular dansul Hip-Hop (ateliere în spatiul public animate de coregraful si dansatorul Bouba Landrille Tchouda si asistentul sau Cedric Gueret, spectacole, proiectii), s-a propus sa transformam aceasta manifestare intr-o prima etapa intr-o intalnire internationala de dans Hip-Hop, iar apoi intr-o bienala a dansului, dupa modelul Bienalei de Dans de la Lyon.

TRON Legacy : Aerosol Mural
“End of the Line, in association with Distillery Productions and Toby Summerskill, have filmed the first 3D Graffiti Time-lapse. Created to document the production of a painted promo for Disney’s Tron: Legacy this is the final 2D edit.
This groundbreaking project was filmed in December 2010 and January 2011, in a warehouse in Shoreditch with the exterior shots taken from the rooftops of East London.
Filmed over 4 days, it shows the execution of a 20-metre mural that was painted on huge canvases for installation on Great Eastern Street.“

Light Sculptures
“Sydney Cash is a sculptor, painter and jeweler. His work is in collections worldwide, including MoMA in NYC, and Le Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts. He is based in Marlboro, New York.
With his light sculptures, Sydney manipulates light as if it were a solid, using mirrored panels to create radiant designs of illumination and shadow. These panels can transform an ordinary beam of light and a blank wall into a composite of design.“

Pozele de la Street Delivery #6 cu peretele mare si peretii de vis-a-vis care merita pozati. S-a facut o treaba foarte detaliata pe peretele mare si de aceea s-a intarziat termianrea lui, plus ploaia de duminica.
Si sa nu uitam ca afisul de pe peretele mare este realizat de Ion Barladeanu.
Street Delivery Graffiti Wall 2011 Part 1
Peretele de pe Strada Arhtur Verona a avut parte anul acesta numai de artisti de graffiti in cadrul Street Delivery #6. Marea problema a fost vremea, care a intarziat foarte mult terminarea peretelui, desenul fiind continuat si dupa trecerea celor trei zile in care evenimentul a avut loc.
O sa postam in curand si poze cu peretele final.
