Dry the River Horses

Dry the River created these huge paper-craft horse posters in collaboration with FOAM creative Xavier Barrade. This short film shows the posters being crafted and fly-posted. Xavier designed the horses in 3D with Google Sketch Up before printing out and assembling the component parts. Each horse took around 35 hours to build.

Nights off in Brasov

Nopti libere, ploioase, pozitive in Brasov. In curand.

Banksy : Wall My Presidents

Banksy : The Bristol Legacy

One of the contributors in the book talks about putting plate glass over this artwork, of listing it, of making sure it’s preserved, which flies in the face of what street art is, which is meant to be radical, temporary, interventionist, not something permanent. That’s quite an interesting challenge and I think the City of Bristol is starting to wrestle with that one.

Banksy : Myths & Legends

For me these stories illustrate the incredible audacity, originality and sheer bloody mindedness of Banksy. Obviously he will be best remembered for his art and exposing the hypocrisy and dumbness of our modern lives. The myths will be viewed as a distraction to some or part of the appeal for others. One thing is certain, the art and the myths are both larger than life and stick two fingers up at conformity. This book is a celebration of that anarchic, rebellious spirit.
