Banksy’s Create Escape
Titled “Create Escape” the clip was just posted to the artist’s social media channels and depicts the real-time creation of a stenciled artwork of a prisoner escaping the high, red brick walls of HM Prison Reading (formerly known as Reading Gaol). Unlike the bright studio lights that illuminated Ross’s bucolic landscapes, “Create Escape” captures the frantic yet precise execution of a work done in near darkness by an artist completely governed by police response time.

Shepard Fairey 2020 Wall Calendar
Personally designed by Shepard Fairey, this collectible Shepard Fairey 2020 Wall Calendar features never-before-seen art. To call Shepard Fairey a “street artist” is a little deceptive. Although he rose out of the skateboarding scene creating his “Andre The Giant Has A Posse” sticker campaign in the late ’80s, he has achieved a mainstream recognition that most street artists never find. If you’ve seen the Obama Hope poster or the OBEY logo, then you know artist/activist Shepard Fairey.

Street Art Agrigento Documentary
From Beirut to the narrow streets of the centre of Agrigento, one of the oldest cities in Sicily (Italy). In this documentary we again look out for the local street art scene. In Agrigento, street art is located in two main hotspots near the streets of via Neve and via Vallicaldi. The art is still a bit raw, but with a clear effort to embellish the city.

Street Art Beirut Documentary
The street art scene of Beirut is probably the most sophisticated of the entire Middle East. Lebanon was torn by the civil war during the ’80s, when stencils and graffiti were used as propaganda by the various militias. Today the street art scene evolved, although social and political issues are still dominant in many murals. In this short documentary, we discover how some Lebanese artists are trying to use street art as a way to reunite.
Artists pictured in this video: Yazan Halwani, Ernesto Maranje, Jorge Gerada, C215, Into, Said Mahmoud, Karim Temerji, Ashekman.

St+art India
India is a country that bubbles with creative energy. But from the colorful fashions to the extravagance of Bollywood, the same images tend to spring to mind to us outsiders. St+art India is on a mission to change the way we think about art, India and the relationship between the two.
Founded in 2014, the group – led by Akshat Nauriyal, Hanif Kureshi, Arjun Bahl, Thanish Thomas and Giulia Ambrogi – brings colorful art projects to India’s streets.
Mainly working in residential neighborhoods with local government support, the non-profit engages the public through huge, eye-catching murals painted on street corners, intersections or apartment buildings. Since the first projects in New Delhi, St+art India has expanded to eight cities in the past four years. They’ve even been credited with creating the country’s first art district – Lodhi Colony in Delhi.
