“The exhibition URBAN AFFAIRS takes a closer look at the development of contemporary art genres, namely Urban Art and Streetart and puts the regional evolution into an international context. Especially in Berlin Street- and Urban Art form an integral part of the citiy’s public image and for this reason is attracting more and more international attention. Many artists, art-lovers and tourists travel to Berlin each year scan the city searching for new artworks. The great appeal deriving from Streetart is based on the fact that this virgin art genre is mostly exhibited publicly and is therefore perceived by a broad audience.“
